Yftah Ziser

I am currently a Research Scientist at Nvidia Research and will be joining the Bernoulli Institute for Mathematics, Computer Science, and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Groningen in 2025 as an Assistant Professor.

I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Informatics at Edinburgh University, hosted by Prof. Shay Cohen, and a proud member of the Cohort.

Before that, I spent three great years at Amazon-Alexa and Facebook as a Research Scientist, where I worked on natural language processing solutions for E-commerce.

I completed my Ph.D. at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Roi Reichart.

My research focuses on developing deep learning methods to overcome the resource bottleneck that limits the global accessibility of NLP technology.
Specifically, I am interested in:

• LLM alignment, with a focus on fairness and truthfulness
• Multilingual learning
• Domain adaptation
